clotheSPIN app

clotheSPIN is a concept mobile app inspired by my experience living in a Nob Hill apartment with a shared laundry room. Designed to simplify laundry day, the app helps users check real-time washer and dryer availability in private laundry rooms and public laundromats using a simple location-specific code.

I developed the product concept and designed the end-to-end user experience, from the wireframes, interactive prototypes, and to the final UI. Selected screens from the clotheSPIN app are shown below.

Welcome Screen

Once you download the app, you will see this welcome screen first. It will display a short description on what it does and gives you four different options to sign up or log in.

getting started

Once you sign up or log in, you will be directed to the "Getting Started" screen. Here you can choose whether you are going to a 'private' or 'public' laundry room.

Choosing your location

Once you choose either a 'private' or 'public' laundry room, it will direct you to the screen on the right, where you can enter your location or enter in your address. Once it locates you, the amount of washers in that location will appear and show you which ones are available or being used. Users can also reserve any of the machines at a certain time.
